another good word...this applies to me very personally...being on a college campus and living w/ this daily is hard...it's hard to not fall into the trap of "hey, everyone's doing it"...and not only that, but there's the idea of "reformed christianity" [maybe, i don't know, it's just what i'm calling it]...but basically people believe that it's 2007 and christianity has changed...it's okay to drink to your hearts content; it's okay to get high everyday; it's okay to have sex with as many people as you can and tell everyone about it, marriage? what's that?...in fact, all of this is encouraged...living as a christian isn't something someone does anymore, it's not "cool"...living as a "christian" is the thing to do...profess with your mouth and then do what you want...like you said, that's a bet that i'm not willing to take, and neither should others

which leads to what we need to be doing...people are taking what the world says to heart...the fact is, we're not going to the same place...hindus, buddhists, muslims, taoists, atheists, *insert nonbelievers here* are all going to hell...there's no other way around it, if they don't believe they will go to hell...so, we as christians need to be out there showing the world that they are wrong, that christianity isn't "outdated" nor is it the "uncool" thing to do

wow, sorry, i kind of went on a little while...my bad...anyway, nick, nice job, these blogs are great, i really like them and i look forward to reading more [and probably commenting on them like this]
